Tonight (Jan. 04) was Eaglet graduation for my daughter. Her school had thus far been comprised of a group of K-3rd and a group of 4th-7th graders. The K-3rd graders had been "Eaglets", learning how the school's program/mission functions and learning how to become Eagles (like the 4th-7th grade group). In Dec, the director and guides felt that the 1st-3rd grade Eaglets were ready to be given a little more freedom and take on the role of Eagles. Tonight those 17 Eaglets were recognized and each presented with a trophy with a plaque that read "Find your calling & change the world!" As a little extra congratulations, I made some bookmarks for the kids.
After getting home and putting little one to bed, I headed to craft some more. It turned into a night of boxes, starting with these triangle Valentine bag/box
...and then started on my "Impossible" boxes for my piano students (I will eventually make 26 of them!) which will be filled with little treasures as my piano students accomplish their assigned pieces
